Gayle Reyes

Gayle Reyes works for the Society of St. Vincent de Paul as our Pantry Manager, a position she started in 2022. Born and raised in South Omaha, Gayle attended both St. Mary’s Grade School and Daniel Gross High School. As an adult, Gayle traveled and lived in various different parts of the world. She spent time on the East Coast in New Jersey & Massachusetts, as well as in Georgia to the south. She even lived across the Atlantic in Germany before returning to her hometown, Omaha!
In the early 2000s, Gayle worked diligently on her bachelor’s, before receiving her Nursing Degree in 2003 at the age of 45! Gayle’s journey at SSVP began in the summer of 2022. She had started volunteering at our Food Pantry on Leavenworth Street, and her passion for the pantry quickly left a great impression on those she was working with. Not long after, she was offered the manager position at the pantry where she continues to work! Gayle is truly an amazing asset for our SSVP team, and she works vigorously to keep our Omaha neighbors fed – we can’t wait to see how we expand with her on our side! |
