Society of St. Vincent de Paul Omaha
Parish Conferences
Currently located in 30 parish across the Archdiocese, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul Omaha’s Conferences boast nearly 600 Volunteer Vincentians who make home visits and provide financial and material assistance to their neighbors in need. Providing person-to-person service – in 2024, alone – our SSVP Omaha Conferences and District Office provided a combined $2,006,023 in rental/homeless prevention, utility and other assistance to 5,364 families in the Omaha area.

Thanks to the generosity of donors like you, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul Omaha is able to keep families together, housed, and with their basic utilities running. Your support makes an immediate and lasting impact on the families we serve, preserving their dignity, and strengthening our entire community.

Ozanam Outreach
Did you know that if a family or individual reaches out to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul Omaha, asking for help with rent, utilities or another critical need – and they do not live within the geographic “footprint” of one of our SSVP Conferences – we can still provide them assistance through our “Ozanam Outreach.” This outreach is named for the founder of the Society, Frederic Ozanam, and is administered through the SSVP Omaha’s District Office. We like to think of it as Vincentians Without Borders!
