Food Pantry

We are always looking for volunteers to help at the Pantry and the Pantry Garden.
​Please contact us if you are interested in joining this crucial work: volunteers@svdpomaha.com
We have roles that include sorting and stacking food as well as companions to those who are shopping with us. 

Our Pantry is a choice pantry.
​Come choose exactly what you need.

​Hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays
​9:00am - 12:30pm

Donating to the Pantry
Food donations are welcome at the west side of the building between 8am-11am on Mondays and Wednesdays. Please ring the dock door bell for assistance. The following items are greatly appreciated:
  • Rice
  • ​Beans (canned or dried)
  • Meal Starters (e.g. Hamburger Helper)
  • Cereal
  • Oatmeal
  • Pancake Mix
  • Peanut Butter
  • Jelly
  • Pasta
  • Pasta Sauce
  • Crackers
  • Canned Meat/Fish
  • Mac N' Cheese
  • Baking Mixes
  • Toilet Paper, Dish Soap, Laundry Soap, Diapers

The SSVP Omaha Pantry offers a food pantry to the public and those in need.  We receive a portion of our food from the USDA through the Emergency Food Assistance Program, also known as TEFAP.   No ID or additional information is required to receive TEFAP food(s) as long as you are under the monthly gross income limits.  This institution is an equal opportunity provider. Pantry Garden​

Our Garden Angels grow food to supply our food pantry with fresh and delicious fruits and vegetables.
