MONETARY DONATIONS

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul Omaha is grateful for the financial support we receive from caring and compassionate members of the community who share our mission of serving the poor and homeless. Frankly, such support is what makes our services even possible, as monetary donations from households, individuals, churches, and businesses are the primary source of support for the Society of St. Vincent de Paul Omaha.

DONATION OPTIONS
You may be interested to know that there are a number of options to consider – and to choose from – when making a financial gift to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul Omaha, including:
  • Sending a check, cash or money order to: Society of St. Vincent de Paul Omaha, 1715 Izard Street – Omaha, NE 68102.
  • Making an online gift to the Society, using a credit or debit card.
  • Making an ACH transfer directly from your bank account to the Society’s bank account.
  • Setting up a recurring donation via a credit card or ACH transfer.
  • Facilitating a matching gift from a business that you’re affiliated with. Some companies offer MATCHING CONTRIBUTIONS, and the Society of St. Vincent de Paul has benefitted from these in the past. Please ask your employer if they provide this opportunity. We can help you through the process.
  • Making a gift of appreciated securities (stocks or mutual funds). The Society partners with the Omaha Community Foundation to accept such gifts of securities. Please contact Nathan Morgan at the OCF, who will facilitate the transfer of your stocks or mutual funds at [email protected] or at 402-933-4229. Nathan will be glad to guide you through each step.
  • Making a meaningful impact through an IRA Charitable Rollover gift (also known as a Qualified Charitable Distribution or QCD) to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul Omaha - for those 70 1/2 or older. Such gifts allow you to donate directly from your IRA to our organization, and which can count toward your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD), if you are 73 or older. IRA Charitable Rollover/QCD gifts are also a tax-efficient way to give, helping you reduce your taxable income while supporting the important mission of the Society. Just click HERE for complete information regarding making an IRA Charitable Rollover/QCD gift.
  • Recommending a one-time or recurring gift from your Donor Advised Fund. Donor Advised Fund gifts can make a meaningful difference to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul Omaha, and especially to the families and individuals in need who we serve.
  • Including the Society of St. Vincent de Paul Omaha in your will or estate plans. These "bequest" gifts allow you to create a lasting legacy, helping ensure that our mission of compassion, service and dignity continues far into the future.

NOTE: To make an online and/or recurring gift right now using a credit or debit card – or to set up an ACH transfer – just click HERE.
For all other donation options, or if you have ANY questions or need assistance with making a donation, please be in touch with our Development Director, Tim Sully, at [email protected] or at 402-779-8499, extension 103. Tim will be happy to help facilitate your philanthropic goals, in support of the mission of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul Omaha.

Again, thank you for considering ANY of these options when making your financial gift to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul Omaha. Your support makes a real and meaningful difference and will be used to assist the poor and homeless of our community who turn to us during their time of need. As a non-profit charitable organization, all financial gifts made to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul Omaha are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law – and are greatly appreciated.
