One of the more visible and active - and interactive - services that the Society of St. Vincent de Paul Omaha provides is our volunteer-driven Homeless Programs. Located at our Holy Family Center at 1715 Izard Street, these homeless programs primarily consist of our Sack Lunch Program, the “Closet Door” (clothing and personal care item distribution), and Homeless Outreach. ALL of these ministries are provided year-round, and all need material donations in order to function.
By supporting our Homeless Programs, your material donations go directly to the hungry and homeless of our community. Please take this opportunity to help keep our "least among us" neighbors in need fed, warm, and dry. Thank you, in advance, for considering making material donations to any of these homeless programs. You can drop off your donations at our Holy Family Center - located at 1715 Izard Street - anytime between 8:00 am & 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Please click HERE to see a description of each of these homeless ministries, and the specific material donation needs of each. |
