Each year, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul helps feed and prevents homelessness for over 14,000 households from right here in Omaha, as well as provides much-needed food and clothing to our homeless neighbors. These photos are just a few of the people we’ve served – on your behalf – providing our life-giving assistance and hope to the poorest families and individuals in our community.

Our SSVP pantry feeds hungry families, and our outreach program helps prevent them from falling into homelessness while keeping their utilities “on”. Our Holy Family Center annually provides thousands of meals and clothing to homeless and near-homeless individuals and families, and through the good graces of Hope of the Poor, free coffee, prayer, and friendship. And, our Thrift Stores offer deeply discounted pricing, helping poor families obtain clothing, household goods, and furniture to help balance their household budgets. The services we provide are only made possible because of generous financial support from caring members of our community, like you.

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul depends on Christmas giving more than anything else. These gifts help care for our community’s poor and homeless well into the future. Your Christmas gift is vitally important, as it will help provide food, a warm blanket, and hope for a brighter future for the families and individuals who seek assistance and come to our door every day of the year.

Please consider donating today using our secure donation page HERE, or by clicking the "Donate Today" button below. In addition to helping the Society of St. Vincent de Paul Omaha provide our critical services to so many families who turn to us in crisis, your gift will also provide them hope for a brighter future.

If you have already made your Christmas gift, thank you. If not, will you please consider making this gift right now? So many people are depending on it.

Thank you and may God bless you and your family. Please know that you are in our prayers and in the prayers of the Society this Christmas, and beyond.
